I like how the motor is powerful compared to the other brand of brush hair dryer. The tascom one is not good. The high setting on the Tascom is like the low setting of this Panasonic Hair dryer. I need something strong to style my hair in a hurry in the mornings. This does the job just fine and I'm very satisfied with this product.
My only gripe is that sometimes this causes a blue electric spark when i'm using it. Maybe it's due to the Japanese voltage difference. I don't know, but so far it hasn't burned out or anything, and the spark doesn't cause any smoke or burn my hair so i guess i'm not too concerned.

It's a terrific product. It is the best brush dryer I have ever used. My only issue is that the Amazon listing stated the voltage as 120 volts (american current) and it is 100 volts (standard japanese current). It has a surge protector built in and that seems to be protecting the motor. So far, I have not encountered any problems with it. The vendor stated that I would be refunded if the motor burnt out and that he has not had any problems with this issue with other clients.
